Roundup of all winners of France Football awards 2022

 The 2022 edition of the France Football award was held yesterday to award football players who has been outstanding in the previous season


Here  is a roundup on the winners of the various major awards as voted by fellow football players and sports journalist all around the world

The "Kopa" trophy which is the outstanding young U21 player was given to Juan Pablo Gavi of Barcelona 

The "Yachine" trophy which is awarded to the best performing goalkeepers was awarded to Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid for his outstanding saves during the Champions league for Real Madrid 



 The women balon d'or was given to Alexia Putellas of Barcelona Femini

A maiden award, the "Socrates award" is a recognition award given to a football for his outstanding doings outside the field was given to Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich 


The "Gerd Müller" award which recognizes the most prolific goals scorer was given to Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona FC 


Finally the most prestigious of all, the "balon d'or" which is the ultimate for the night was given to Karim Benzema of France and Real Madrid for his outstanding heroics in last season champions league for Real Madrid leading them to win the ultimate

Manchester United suffers a humiliating defeat to Liverpool football club

Manchester United has suffered a 7-0 humiliating defeat away to Liverpool Football club at Anfield. Manchester United went into the fixture sitting 3rd position and looking to close down on city rivals Manchester City who was sitting 2nd behind Arsenal football club. The game was promised to be a very cagey encounter as Liverpool Football club who has recently lost form we're slowly picking up, although sitting on 7th position Liverpool were keen on bouncing back to challenge for a top four finish. The first 45 minutes of the game ended with Liverpool leading with a lone goal courtesy a brilliant finish from Cody Gakpo.
